3 Ways to Pair a Wooden Ships Sweater

If you’re like me, you’re always cold...even in the summer when it’s a solid 75. Having a great staple piece that can function for you in any temp is huge when you’re trying to create a flex wardrobe that saves space. When Wooden Ships by Paola Buendia reached out to me, I thought “ok, it’s another sweater company…”

And then I tried the sweater on... and to my surprise I didn’t want to take it off. It was SO soft and cozy. If you’ve followed by ‘gram, you know I have been a bit bitter about Fall being here before I was ready. But, having this sweater in my wardrobe has definitely made me more willing to accept the cooler weather. I LOVE that this sweater is lightweight enough for the warmer fall / summer days, but also warm enough for the colder winter days ahead. It’s a GREAT flex piece for all seasons and now I’m in love.

The fall collection is now out, so you can snag this gem (and others) with my code ciara15 for 15% off. While you wait for it to arrive, you can read below for some ideas on how to style your sweater. Enjoy!

Playful Distressed Short

This is such a cute look for those summer beach days when a torn jean short is "in". Pair it with a cute hat and your favorite shades. With the torn jean, I love rocking the Bella Back Seam Sweater off the shoulder for that extra touch.

Classic White Short

Maybe your style is a bit more classic than a torn short. A great alternative is to pair with a clean short (J Crew). This is my personal favorite!

Brooklyn Babe

I'm torn on whether this feels a little more country than it does Brooklyn, but in either case it's a bit more fun. This is a great look for those cooler days when a bootie is acceptable. Love that this look is versatile for different activities. Swipe for all looks!
