SBLV: Game Day Snacks

Super Bowl is here - literally, it's today! If you're still looking for some snacks to prep for the big game tonight that take virtually no time and little ingredients, I've got you covered. Not only are the snacks here delicious, they're also good for your heart, which is perfect for American Heart Month - a month so important to reminding us to take care of #OurHearts.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women with one person dying every 36 seconds from cardiovascular disease accounting for 1 in 4 deaths each year. I used to think I was untouchable, especially when it came to heart disease, but after being diagnosed with Lyme Disease with Carditis causing a minor heart attack last year and an ongoing struggle with high blood pressure, I've learned the importance of watching what I eat and taking care of my heart.

So since everyone on Instagram voted to see more snack recipes from me, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite healthy snacks that are super easy, particularly good for your heart, and perfect for The Big Game.
